Welcome to Mystic Palm!
I cannot believe it…my little idea is now a website!! This company has been a true labor of love for me and quite a journey. Starting a business is not easy, but I took my time, listened to my intuition, and met some really awesome people along the way.
“Crystals (insert confused expression)?!” - A reaction I have gotten A LOT along the way. Trying to explain crystals to someone who doesn’t have the same love for them as I do can definitely be tough, but I really don’t mind educating and talking with others about their beauty and astounding qualities. Luckily, I always keep crystals in my purse or pocket and showing them off leads to instant understanding!
After showing them my crystals, the first question I get is “What is your favorite set?” - My favorite set has to be the first one I arranged for my 10 year old daughter - Finding My Zen. Over the last couple of years she has struggled with anxiety that is triggered by the abundance of school work she receives. This was causing her to have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. I arranged this set with that in mind, and wanted it to serve as a reminder to her that she’s got this! She now has it placed on her nightstand and I even find her playing with the crystals. Occasionally she will put a crystal in her backpack or pocket and bring it with her to school if she is feeling overwhelmed! Each of our crystal sets come with an affirmation and crystal card, and she keeps hers on her bathroom mirror and reads it each morning out loud before she starts her day. How awesome is that! I I love sharing all of this with her, and it makes my heart so happy to see her impacted by crystals like I have been.
The second question I get is “Do you have crystals all over your house?” - YES! My name is Michelle and I love crystals and am not going to apologize for it! Around my house I have Himalayan lamps, a wide variety of crystals all over, and will smudge myself and my home. I will write a blog soon about what crystals I have in each room of my house and why. My girlfriends were over and commented on how they couldn’t find a dish for their crystals like mine, and that is where I got the idea to offer dishes with the crystals sets for all to enjoy! I love watching house guests gravitate towards certain crystals and sets I have out; it can be very telling about personalities and experiences.
The final question I get is “What is your main goal with Mystic Palm?” - My goal with this company is for it to be a place you can come, browse, and purchase a meaningful and unique gift for yourself or someone in your life. My hope is that this gift will give the recipient what they need at that moment; love, faith, hope, happiness, encouragement and so much more. It would mean so much to have someone reach out and share their story of how the crystals helped them in a positive, enlightening way.
